Since 1978, the Ithaca Zen Center has been a place where people can practice meditation and mature their understanding of life. Ithaca Zen Center depends on sesshin fees and tax-deductible donations for the funds to continue its services. If you find that you are attending programs at IZC regularly, consider becoming a member of the sangha (community).
One does not need to donate to participate in any of our public programs. However, many people who feel at home at IZC and want to support its life and practice typically do decide to become members. No one will be excluded from practicing at the Zen Center because of an inability to pay.
It is possible to make alternate arrangements involving work at the Center and/or in-kind contributions. Members make a recurring financial contribution to IZC, and many also give time and energy by working in a volunteer capacity. If you appreciate the difference that IZC has made in your life, please join us, and help to maintain this special place.
We are a 501(c)(3) non-profit religious organization, EIN 80-0542204. All contributions are tax deductible. No goods or services will be provided in exchange for the contribution. To claim a donation as a deduction on your U.S. taxes, please keep your email donation receipt as your official record.
Whether it be a one-time gift, or an ongoing commitment, Ithaca Zen Center is grateful for your generosity. Thank you very much for your support!
