Zazenkai—a 1 to 3-day Zen meditation practice, held at the Ithaca Zen Center. Zazenkai includes sitting and walking meditation, silent meals, Dharma talks, and is an excellent opportunity to relax deeper into your practice. 7 Day Sesshin at Ithaca Zen Center
Sesshin—a 5 to 7-day silent meditation retreat held at the Ithaca Zen Center four times a year. Sesshin is a chance to immerse oneself in a longer period of practice. Newcomers are asked to please contact and arrange a practice orientation with Chris at zen@cornell.edu. Program fee is on a sliding scale, $450-$550. Private room with bathroom, add $100.
